Wheel & Controller disconnects since 1.03
Hey guys, devs and community manager, something's been wrong since patch 1.03. In our league, we're seeing an increasing number of steering wheels and controllers disconnecting in test races in multiplayer mode. Mostly from players playing on PC. The steering wheel drivers can no longer steer, accelerate, etc. Yesterday, as a controller driver, I experienced a controller disconnect. First, the vibration completely disappeared during qualifying and only returned properly after restarting the game. Then, during the race, I experienced a complete disconnect. After pressing buttons several times, the controller suddenly reconnected. I'm attaching a video. Have you had similar experiences since patch 1.03?! Greetings, yeahmkController & headset mic on PS5 not available
Hi, is there a fix planned for using the controller mic or headset mic to talk to engineer on F1 25 for the PS5 at all?? It’s really difficult to select an option using Directional pad when playing on a steering wheel! Especially if the option you want is near the bottom. It worked fine when I played on my PS4 but since upgrading to PS5 it seems to not have the option anymore?? Please advise if there is any planned solution for this! Thank youForce Feedback Bug on Logitech G923
Platform: PC (Steam) Wheel: Logitech G923 Pedals: Thrustmaster TLCM OS: Windows 11 Every time I start a new race in F1 25—whether it's Grand Prix, Multiplayer, or Time Trial—Force Feedback does not work until I manually go into the control settings and reapply or change something. This happens consistently and makes it necessary to repeat this process before every single race. Steps to Reproduce: Launch F1 25 Start any race mode (e.g. Grand Prix, Multiplayer, or Time Trial) Begin the session without touching the settings Notice that Force Feedback is either completely off or feels wrong Go into the settings menu and adjust any control/FFB option or re-select your preset Return to the race—Force Feedback now functions correctly Expected Behaviour: Force Feedback should work automatically when starting any race, without needing to enter and adjust settings. Actual Behaviour: Force Feedback only activates properly after manually changing a control settings or reapplying the preset for each race session. Hardware Setup: Logitech G923 with TrueForce Thrustmaster TLCM pedals connected via USB All devices connected via wired USB Using latest version of Logitech G Hub What I've Tried: Verifying game files via Steam Updating Logitech G Hub Disabling TrueForce Reinstalling the game Issue persists in all race modes Extra Notes: This issue did not exist in F1 24. It seems the game does not properly initialize Force Feedback unless settings are manually refreshed. This adds unnecessary steps before each session and breaks immersion for wheel users.Asetek Wheel Compatibility (La Prima & Forte)
on the mentioned wheelbases, the driving feels "off" as if is recongized as controller rather than wheel. the virtual steering wheel in-game shakes when going off track but the movement doesn't reflect the actual wheel's movement. I'm also noticing how on high-speed corners, the wheel rotation is not reflected on the virtual steering wheel whilst on low speed it matches perfectly (the wheel rotation settings both in-game and in Asetek's software are matching perfectly) I don't see any reason why those 2 wheel bases (La Prima & Forte) shouldn't be supported, as the Invicta instead is correctly recognized.Force Feedback not 100% as it was in "BETA 1"
I'm using a Logitech G29 wheel, and the force feedback is not working 100%, when the wheel is straight, there's almost no force, exactly the same way it was in BETA 1, and then got patched and fixed. Hopefully this can be addressed quickly 'cause it affects negatively on the driving.Wheel rotation randomly goes crazy high
Hey, I've found a rather annoying bug where wheel rotation sometimes resets to some super high value and I can barely steer the car at all. The two ways to fix it that I have found are going to the menu and changing the wheel rotation in the ingame calibration settings or restarting the game, both of which are of course quite bad if you've already started a race. The bug seems to happen randomly between sessions, last night I had it in a ranked lobby. On the one-shot qualifying lap it was still fine, but then for the race start it had reset the rotation to some crazy high value and I couldnt steer the car at all. It has also happened to me in some 5-lapper lobbies, where it just randomly changed itself between races. I have a Fanatec DD1 Podium wheel and I am on PC Steam platform, but it has also affected a friend of mine who has a thrustmaster wheel and another one who has a Moza racing wheel, so it doesnt seem to be wheel manufacturer specific issue. For my DD1 I have set the wheel rotation to 330 in the driver and in the game. Thanks in advance, NightgloomAi start on wrong tyres for sprint races in f2
I started a career in f2 and noticed for the sprint races the ai all started on softer compound tyres instead of hard compound like they would usually do in real life. Happens in Grand Prix mode also and tracks that use different compound, for example medium and hard or softs and hard.Thrustmaster T598 disconnects PS5!!
So i got the new game (F125) yesterday (06/062025) And was TT around Brazil, all was fine, then i changed the camera settings and carried on setting lap times when my T598 disconnects, i turned it off/on and all seemed ok until i tryed to shift down and brake, Nothing happened. i restarted the track from menu and then the gears started going up and down by itself even when stationary, then another disconnect!! All this happened 3 or 4 times! I thought this maybe a wheel/Base issue, so i tryed another game (GT7) without turning ps5 off, just turned off F1 25! started GT7 and played it for an hour and a half with zero issues! As said before i was laping around Brazil fine until i changed the camera settings, then it started disconnecting etc, may be a bug after changing camera stting or something else, But atm is unplayable for me! please fix asap TIAThrustmaster T818 Sf1000 Feels like crap
My wheel has random force feedback out of nowhere and the lag is horrendous. Also wheel is not responsive at all. F124 played way better. I also feel my wheel loose which doesn’t happen in other games and does not stay aligned with the calibration I have it on. Is there any fix to this?
