I got the game this morning and played for an hour, since then I shut down my PC and loaded the game up once getting home. Now whenever I try and load the game via steam I get 'Software cannot be used at the same time as the game Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC.: AutoHotKey', the issue is I don't have any programs called AutoHotKey on my PC and restarting has made no difference.
For me, dissabling the Codec software on your PC helpped me get rid of that. However now for me there's a new problem where the splash screens shows up and just returns back to the EA app.
Codec pack? That went out with the ark - no way you should be receiving that internet wisdom. If it won’t play in VLC, it’s not playing. Because the EAAC is a kernel check, just imagine what those “codecs” are doing….saving your pr0n history for an extortion attempt….
