Can’t Play Our Career Without Paying EA Play Pro – Request for a Fix
We’re experiencing a major issue with our co-op career save and would like to bring it to EA’s attention.
When F1 was released, we started our co-op career using EA Play Pro since the Apex F1 Team was temporarily exclusive to that version. After several months, we decided to purchase the full game license instead, as we were only keeping the EA Play Pro subscription for F1 and wanted to save some money.
Unfortunately, we discovered that it’s impossible to continue our existing career because the Apex team content isn’t available without the higher-tier subscription. This means we’re practically forced to keep paying the more expensive EA Play Pro plan just to keep our nine-month-old career going — we’re already in our fourth season, all documented and streamed live on Twitch.
We completely understand the contractual limitations related to the F1 license. However, it’s unreasonable to block players from continuing their careers unless they maintain a premium subscription. This severely limits the usability of the software and creates a situation where players are obliged to pay continuously to access content they’ve already progressed through.
Now that the Apex content has been added to the lower-tier plan, we ask that you please consider adding an option to switch to another team (like Konnersport) or provide an alternative fix that allows players to keep their existing save.
We believe this situation borders on unfair practice, and we hope EA can find a way to resolve it quickly. We also encourage others experiencing the same problem to share their feedback here.
