F1 25 always gets stuck in splash then crashes, tried everything
F1 25 on steam keeps crashing and everytime I verify my files after starting it once, it always mentions that it failed to verify 3 files. It starts off by loading the anti cheat and showing the splash but after a brief period it crashes. I've tried everything, from reinstalling the anti cheat service, reinstalling the game, disabling all services besides the anti cheat and steam, reinstalling the game itself, and reinstalling windows. None of them have worked and they all show the same result. I can't even post an error code from the game itself because it just doesn't get to that point. Please let me know if anyone has found a consistent fix for this.Game suddenly perma crashing after Splash Screen (EasyAntiCheat) xf1 25
Hello I've played 55h on F125 without a single issue and now for no reason the game can't launch anymore. (Steam version) I click on "play" then the Easy Anti Cheat Javelin screen pops up. Then loading and disapear as usual. Then the main screen of F1 25 is appearing for 2 sec (black screen) and crash without any messages, any logs. I've seen multiple similar unresolved cases, please help. Tried already a lot of things (uninstall game / EasyAntiCheat), AMD drivers updates, Admin mode, PC restart etcAPXGP Pack missing
Hi everyone, I purchased the F1 25 Iconic Edition via Steam on July 11, 2025, which was within the eligibility period to receive the APXGP Pack, including access to the F1 movie characters (Sonny Hayes, Joshua Pearce) and the APXGP team. However, the APXGP Pack is not showing up in my Steam DLC list, and neither the movie drivers nor the APXGP team are available in-game. I've checked across all game modes (Career, My Team, Grand Prix, etc.), but they are nowhere to be found. I've also made sure the game is fully updated and that all the DLC available are installed properly—but no luck. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Are there any known fixes or steps I might be missing? Thanks very much for your help!1.6KViews17likes37CommentsF1 25 Crashing (ANTI-CHEAT)
Hey all, I’ve been stuck with this crash that began today and I’m out of ideas. Hoping someone else has hit the same issue: Error log (Event Viewer, Windows 11): Source: Application EAAntiCheatService The game f1_25.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000005 What I’ve already tried: Verified game files (Steam) Reinstalled EA AntiCheat Clean GPU driver install with DDU (just last week) Disabled all overlays (Steam, Discord, NVIDIA, MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner, etc.) Closed RGB/control apps (Corsair iCUE, Armoury Crate, etc.) Cleared EA App cache Disabled Windows Core Isolation (Memory Integrity) Reinstalled latest Visual C++ runtimes (x86 + x64, 2015–2022) Tried without XMP/EXPO System: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 RX 7800XT, Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Steam version of the game Issue: Every time I launch F1 25, the game dies instantly with EA AntiCheat logging 0xC0000005. No other errors show in Event Viewer except the AntiCheat entry. At this point I’m thinking it’s either a deeper EA AntiCheat conflict, or something specific to my system config. Has anyone else run into this exact crash recently? Any hidden fixes I’ve missed? Thanks in advance 🙏Game won't launch
Hello! I bought F1 25 on Steam, installed the game, but it won’t launch. When I try to run it: EA AntiCheat window shows then nothing happens I have already tried all known solutions: fully uninstalled and reinstalled EA App and AntiCheat added exclusions in antivirus verified game files via Steam After pressing the start button, a small window appears, the download takes place after 10-20 seconds, this window closes and then nothing happens. If you run a file scan in steam, it constantly downloads 3 files.(I'll take a screenshot) and when you start the game, everything happens from the very beginning changed installation path. Please help — the game doesn’t start at all, and no useful error is shown. I've been sitting here for almost two days trying to solve the problemF1 25 – F1 World Car Extremely Slow Despite High Technical Level
Hello, I play F1 25 via Steam, mainly in online invitational events. For some time now, my F1 World car has been performing extremely poorly despite having a technical level of over 870. When I first started at level 100, the car was slow, which I expected. However, as I progressed to level 250–300, I noticed a significant improvement in speed and performance. By around level 500, it became very easy to beat the AI, set new time trial records, and regularly compete for victories. Since reaching approximately level 500, my car’s performance has drastically declined. Even after progressing to nearly level 900, I can no longer compete for podium finishes and struggle to score points. AI opponents with much lower technical levels easily overtake me, and human players with far lower levels sometimes lap up to 8 seconds faster per lap. Lap times I previously achieved are now completely out of reach. I am consistently 5–6 seconds slower than before, despite my car’s technical level only increasing. When testing in Time Trial mode with the official F1 cars and my F1 World car, I achieve much better times in Time Trial than I do with my F1 World car in other game modes — whereas it used to be the opposite. It now feels as though my F1 World car is not accelerating to 100%, making it undriveable and as slow as it was back at level 100. I have thoroughly checked my hardware and confirmed it is working correctly. I have also: Changed all car parts Reinstalled the game Deleted my local save files Tested in offline mode Created a new Windows profile Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue. I suspect that my F1 World profile or cloud save may be corrupted. Could you please fully reset my F1 World profile or delete my cloud save so I can start over in a clean environment? Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, JamsKngInvitational BUG, many time i lost my correct car performance level.
Report Code: GLJM-VPBX-PTXH-PRZG Hello, I've already posted this in the F1® 25 General Discussion under another user's comment, but since I haven't received any replies, I'll try directly here. Here's a summary of my problem. Hello, I understand that the mode is cooperative (and thank goodness, otherwise I wouldn't even play it), but something strange my brother and I have been experiencing since the update, here's the situation. I'll try to describe it well to avoid misunderstandings, because as I said above, it's a cooperative mode and honestly, it bothers me to be a burden to other users due to technical issues (perhaps waiting 10 minutes to start a match and then seeing the reward go up in smoke because I can't achieve my normal in-game performance and help finish ahead of the AIs). Let's start with the tech level. My brother and I are generally around 600-630. (Now we're around 660-670 but we have the exact same problem.) Now, if we choose, for example, Brazil in invitational events with a rating under 500, we typically set a lap time of around 1'08" and without DRS. If we then move to an invitational event, still in Brazil (for time comparison), but with a rating that goes up to even just 600, the car behaves strangely and loses performance. In fact, we can't get below 1'11" even with DRS, which makes it impossible to compete with the AI, even if their record lap time at this level is only 1'10". Now, out of curiosity, we tried downgrading the car to level 100 and noticed that by entering the same 600-rated invitational, we get the same 1'11" time as our 620-level car. For the record, before the update, this wasn't happening. We were outperforming the AI even in 800-900 rated invitational events without problems and with a car at 400-500 tech level. So, drawing conclusions, it seems from our calculations that since the update, if we choose an invitational event above 600, the game gives us a car with a level 100 performance, completely ignoring our car's actual upgrade level. This makes it extremely difficult to compete with the AI and thus contribute to cooperation. Is anyone else experiencing this situation? Because entering an event and not knowing if you'll have normal performance to at least do your part is very frustrating. After various tests, it seemed we had found the problem. I've done some more testing and noticed that this only happens in the challenges I've opened and played online with random players, and which now have an expiry countdown. In fact, replaying these challenges (because we obviously didn't reach all the targets), the car consistently has average lap times that are 3 seconds higher. However, my brother and I have now tried creating new invitational events and playing just the two of us, we completed 3 of them without any car bugs up to level 750 without issues. So, I think they've messed something up in the online matches that are open to everyone. I will conduct further tests tomorrow. but unfortunately, the morning after: Last night it seemed to work, but playing matches this morning we encountered the same problem again, and we can't figure out why. It seems completely random; in one game you have performance, and then in another, you don't. Perhaps no one else is experiencing this issue. I've attached some screenshots to better illustrate what I mean. As you can see, on the São Paulo track across three different matches, the times are completely off, and the AI even records faster times despite having a lower technical level. Could you please check if you're experiencing the same issues, or if it's just my brother and I? Our setups are a 13600K + RX 7900 XT and a 7950X + RTX 4080; we both have 32GB of RAM, the game is on an NVMe drive, and we play via EA APP and 4K 120Hz screens.EA App not recognizing F1 25 Steam license
I bought this game June 26, with high hopes of playing in preparation for the now released F1 movie Unfortunately, I kept running into this issue where the game doesn't recognizes my EA Account, and the EA App refuses to acknowledge my Steam license, despite the game being bought and installed legitimately through Steam. It keeps refusing access to online features, claiming it cannot connect to the EA Online servers. I have already done every step possible to troubleshoot, from re linking my EA and Steam account, reinstalling the EA App, verifying the Steam game files, running both apps as administrator, etcetera. It is also worth noticing I have contacted EA Support multiple times, and told this is a widespread issue affecting multiple F! 25 Steam players, not just me. Regardless, I was offered no fix, besides refunding the game and re-buying it via the EA App, which I think is an unacceptable solution because then why even bother offering EA games on Steam. Not wishing to be a nuisance, but I paid 74 USD for this game and DLC, and I can't access basic online features. IS there a way to re-sync the licenses manually? Or if there is an estimated time for a fix. Thanks in advance
