As you see, all reports on the same problem. STILL is a problem.
When I go into the game and straight to invites it gets me into the communicating with online services for eternity, WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO DO ANYTING. So I have to kill the game.

On ps5 its the Touch pad button when on the main menus then "menus" tab.
It is in the top right of the screen. There will be a button next to it that will indicate how to open it

Deleting all messages in the ingame mailbox resolves this issue in most cases. Hope this helps anyone who is struggling with this as a previous poster as already made it aware its been a bug since 23 atleast. Menus should be sharper doing this also.
This problem has been in the game for a while now. Sometimes I can't even race in the leagues. I get an invite, and when I accept, it gets stuck communicating with the server indefinitely. Even during races, sometimes it keeps showing "communicating with the server" until you disconnect. This problem is unbearable. Some of my friends have already given up on the game because they can't communicate with the online services.

i play this game for a month or so. this error occurs since 2 days ago. idk how to get rid of it. before that everything was working fine.
I think in this case it's maybe be more of a menu bug because when I go to time trial I am able to see invites. So to actually get into a lobby I first need to go time trial and then I can accept that invite. Which is a lame workaround.
