As you see, all reports on the same problem. STILL is a problem.
When I go into the game and straight to invites it gets me into the communicating with online services for eternity, WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO DO ANYTING. So I have to kill the game.

This is NOT FIXED. Me and my friends are UNABLE to play because everytime at least one of us has this ISSUE!!!!!
It's improved a little, but it still happens once in a while. It seems to be a problem with the game's message box; when I open it, the game freezes trying to communicate with the servers. It took me 30 minutes to delete two messages; I gave up on deleting the others. The option to delete all messages doesn't work; even clicking it, the messages remain. EA should prioritize the game's servers; it's frustrating to buy a game and not be able to get a stable connection, especially when you're participating in leagues.
I think the situation worsens on lower end computers as my loading times are significantly higher than my friends, even though their mailboxes are very full, (60+ messages) I've spent some time deleting some mail and claiming the attachments until the previous update, which seems to improve peformance since I can join, the error still comes back from time to time, I'll spend more time deleting messages but it takes a long time (+30 minutes) to delete only a couple.
They probably missed something cuz on my end was working fine today. i played like 30minutes without any connection bug.
Still not fixed, not changed one bit, have this issue since this new patch, can't believe the ea team can't ship a working update, i've read about clearing your mail would fix it but how would I clear my main if it all contained attachments, not allowing me the delete it all? I've also validated all files and reinstalled anticheat, its also a shame it was reported "fixed" two hours ago, lastly when joining a person through steam, it gives me an error NM8, quick search with google and it said conflicting applications, which I thought was riot Vanguard. Still doesnt work, but now I infinetly load trying to join :), thanks EA

I don't think they really care about this.
I was playing in offline mode (grand prix with the F1 World car) the other day and just after the race start the 'Communicating with online services' screen appears, the other drivers go on with their race and I found myself in the wall. But when the error screen has disappeared i noticed that the name of all AIs were replaced with names from my Steam friends (i play from PC) so the game really loses connection with EA servers, but WHY? i have a good connection and every other game i use online works very well at good pings.
There are days when I get stuck on this screen and can't get out, especially when I'm in an online lobby or accessing the game settings and in-game mailbox.
