F1 25 - Career mode still crashing after hotfix

Hello, i'm also having the same issue after the 1.26 update. Every time i start my career save, the game crashes and will close when loading the circuit. i can't even get into the garage. It has been a few days, but the issue is still there. I've tried verifying integrity of game files and reinstalling, but nothing works

    Hello EA_cuervo​ 

    I have the same problem as described on PC Steam. I updated the game to 1.25 and I could play it without issue. I did a mid session save in FP2. Then the game got updated again to V1.26 and since then I can't open my save. Everything works fine but when I open my career save file the game loads into the circuit and then without warning shuts the whole game down. The game says it is in version V1.26.1417865. I have attached my save game folder in ZIP.

    You can try attaching the ZIP file directly in a reply here. If that doesn't work, feel free to upload it to Google Drive or another file-sharing service of your choice and send us the link. If you're more comfortable sharing it privately, you can also send it to me via DM.

    mienai_otoko​ Apologies for that. I made a mistake and assumed you were also on PC, as the main report in the thread is from a PC player. 

    Before the game crashes, do you see a report code? (you can get it from the Pause menu, bottom left of the screen; it looks like ABCD-EFGH-IJKL-MNOP). Codes are always letters, so if you think something is a "2," it might be a "Z," or if you think it might be a "0," then it will be an "O."

    Thank you for replying. 

    I’m playing F1 25 on PS5. As far as I know, PS5 doesn’t allow me to access the save folder as individual files or create a ZIP of it. Could you please clarify how you’d like me to provide the PS5 save data?

    mienai_otoko​ Sorry to hear you can't load your old saves. 

    Could you please put your entire save folder into a ZIP file and send it to us? I will check with the team to see if there's anything specific we could do to try to recover it.

    I’m having the same issue on PS5.

    My game is currently on Version 1.26.000, but my existing 2025 Driver Career save still crashes when I try to load it.

    The game crashes and returns me to the PS5 home screen.

    I have already tried:

    • Restarting the PS5
    • Updating the PS5 system software
    • Clearing the system software cache
    • Rebuilding the PS5 database

    Unfortunately, the issue still happens.

    This save worked normally before the update, and I really don’t want to delete the save as I would like to continue this career.

    Hopefully this can be investigated. Thanks!
