Drive-through penalty for speeding with the safety car on track.
I was racing at Monaco in career mode when a safety car was deployed. As usual, we headed to the pits; since I was leading, I was the first to enter. I entered within the speed limit, but when I crossed the line, I received a "Drive-Through Penalty for speeding under safety car conditions." That makes absolutely no sense and ruined my race. I race without "flashback" enabled, so would I have to restart a race that was already nearing the end? And what if it happened again, given that Monaco always has safety cars? Anyway, that’s my account. I recall something similar happening early on in F1 2020, where you’d get penalized for overtaking cars that were in the pits during a safety car period; thank goodness that was fixed back then, and I hope this gets fixed too. Report Code: TRBR-TWPR-VXDV-KSCDBug Report: AI Sometimes Sets Unrealistically Fast Lap Times in Career Mode
In Career Mode, AI drivers can occasionally set lap times that are completely unrealistic compared with the expected pace of the session. I'm not sure what triggers this issue, but it seems to happen intermittently. When it occurs, the affected AI driver’s lap time can be far faster than what should be possible based on car performance, track conditions, tyre state, fuel load, and the general pace of the field. For example, an AI driver may suddenly set a lap time around one second faster than anyone else on the grid.F1 2026 Sponsor liveries reverting to Azure livery in My Team
In My Team 2026, I can select sponsor liveries such as Seren, Forward, and RGB. The selected livery appears correctly in the customization menu and shows a green check mark. However, after leaving the customization screen and going to the Team HQ or a race weekend, the car reverts to the default Azure 2026 livery instead of the selected sponsor livery. This issue happens on all My Team saves, including newly created saves. I have tested multiple sponsor liveries and the all revert to the Azure livery. So the expected result would be that the selected sponsor livery remains on the car but the actual result is that the car reverts to the default Azure 2026 livery.MyTeam Tyre Allocation resetting (Possible Bug)
In my MyTeam career mode, before each weekend I am prompted to select a Tyre Allocation from "Softer", "Balanced" or "Harder". For my Monaco GP weekend, I selected the "Harder" allocation as I wanted 2 hard tyres for the Race. However I have since gone to the race weekend and I have been given the "Balanced" allocation which gives me 1x Hard Tyres and 2x Medium Tyres for the race. I am not sure if this is a bug or intentional so am hoping for some clarification. I have attached an image of the allocation given to me for the Monaco GP I previously mentioned, as you can see it is the "Balanced" allocation rather than the "Harder" allocation. The circled Medium tyre set should be available to me in Practice and the Hard Tyre set allocated for Practice should have been allocated where the purple circled tyre set is; if that makes sense.Practice programs doesn't complete
So I'm in practice and the secondary objectives refuse to say they are completed. For example right now I'm in F2 at Abu Dhabi, and for the track acclimatation the objectives are (my game is in french so my translation is not 100% accurate): optimal sector time in S2 activate DRS in each DRS zones stay under 2m to the ideal ligne on a lap On my track acclimatation lap: my sector 2 time was just 1 tenth slower than my fastest sector 2, I'm pretty sure that I completed this objective before without it being the fastest so I don't really understand how this one works I literaly got it, in the same practice session for the Fuel Managing program and it completed successfully + it's clear from the track map that I activated the DRS. bruh I activated the ideal line assist for that on and it still didn't complete I guess everything is fine and that's just another normal F1 Game launch and that it's completely intended behavior. These objective are here since 2020 and at least for it wasn't broken back in the day. That's five years. Should not be broken like that in any universe when that's here for so long.UNREALISTIC CAR PERFORMANCES.
Ok so I know the DLC has only been out for a week and you are planning a future updates. But the car performances in the new 2026 DLC are so unrealistic particularly from the Aston Martin who are getting into Q3, as well as Williams who in real life have an overweight car so they should not be challenging for podiums. And also most of all Mercedes who have dominated the season since the start as well as Antonelli who has gone on an insane 5 win streak surely this is not a fluke. Just wanted to get the word out as quickly as possibleMonza Practice programme bug
Hi, I am playing F1 25 in Monza and I just did a qualifying pace practice programme, I had about 2 seconds better delta and when I finished it told me I am on the last place and I have to strat ober again, I thought it's weird so I made it again, with same result. I don't know if it's bug or not, but I think I did everything rightIncorrect driver numbers in MyTeam
If I use one of the driver icons or standard drivers at the start of a myteam career, sometimes the numbers on the car are already on existing drivers. Example I've had Victor Martins car use 14, which is Alonso's, and also another driver used number 6 but this is Isak Hadjar's. Again, basic testing not done.Penalty System Is Broken
Dear EA Sports F1 Team, I have been buying the F1 games every single year because I genuinely love Formula 1. That is exactly why I am taking the time to write this message. Unfortunately, I have reached a point where the frustration outweighs the enjoyment. The biggest issue is the penalty and steward system. It is one of the most frustrating systems I have ever experienced in a racing game, and in many situations it simply does not work correctly. Here are just a few examples: A driver suddenly stops or spins across the track, leaving me with no realistic chance of avoiding the collision. I hit them because there is nowhere to go, yet I receive the penalty. During a Safety Car period, I paused the game. After resuming, I was suddenly given a 10-second penalty without any explanation. There are countless situations where another driver crashes into me, but I am the one who receives the penalty. I have received track limits penalties even after watching the replay and confirming that I never exceeded the track limits. Being penalized for something that clearly did not happen is unacceptable. There have been many races where I am already ahead or fully alongside another driver through a corner, they drive straight into the side of my car, spin me around, and somehow I receive the penalty. At times, it genuinely feels as though penalties are being assigned randomly rather than based on what actually happened on track. That completely destroys the racing experience. Another major issue is the online multiplayer experience. Too many races are ruined by players who have no intention of racing fairly. As soon as they realize they are losing, they deliberately crash into other drivers just to ruin someone else’s race. It wastes the time of players who simply want to enjoy clean racing. I believe there should be stronger systems to prevent intentional collisions. For example, if a player is approaching another car at an unrealistic speed and it is obvious they are making no attempt to brake or avoid contact, the game should recognize this as intentional wrecking. In situations like these, the offending car—or both cars if necessary—could temporarily become ghosted so that the collision never happens. It is much better to prevent an obvious intentional crash than to ruin an innocent player’s race. The current Safety Rating system also needs significant improvement. While the A, B, C and D ratings are a good idea in theory, they do not effectively separate clean racers from players who intentionally ruin races. Respectful drivers continue to be matched with people who have no respect for fair competition or for other players’ time. Please introduce better matchmaking, more intelligent collision detection, stronger penalties for intentional wrecking, and better protection for clean drivers. Formula 1 is supposed to be about precision, respect, strategy and skill. Instead, many online races become demolition derbies because there are too few consequences for players who intentionally destroy the race for others. I am also disappointed by the amount of new content. As someone who buys the game every year, I expected meaningful improvements and new experiences. Instead, it often feels like a seasonal update with very few substantial additions, while long-standing gameplay issues remain unresolved. Players continue paying full price, yet fundamental systems such as penalties and race stewarding still do not function reliably. This is not only my opinion. Thousands of players have been reporting these same issues for years. The community wants cleaner racing, fairer penalties, and a game that rewards skill instead of punishing innocent drivers. I truly want this series to succeed because I have supported it for years. However, if these problems continue without meaningful improvements, I will seriously reconsider buying future F1 titles. That would be disappointing because this has always been my favorite racing franchise. Please listen to your community. We are not asking for perfection—we are asking for a fair, enjoyable, and polished racing experience. Thank you for your time, and I sincerely hope this feedback reaches the development team. Kind regards, Krzzysztof
