Game crashing

I just bought F1 25 a few days ago on Xbox Series X. I haven’t even been able to play it yet because the game keeps crashing my console after about 90 seconds of running. I then get an error message saying the console was shut off to avoid overheating. My Xbox is clean and not dusty. I have no issues running any other games for any length of time and I’ve never seen this error message before.

Nothing more frustrating than spending money on a game and not even being able to play it. This is ridiculous!

Same thing is happening to me.
I got the game when it was released on gamepass and played through Breaking Point no problem then after I finished the story I started a career and for some reason every time I was on my last lap the game would crash and say my console was overheating.
I disconnected the console, cleaned all the ports, bought dust covers and a fan and tried it again and still shutting down either on or near the end of the race (I race medium length races, so around 20 laps).
I’ve tried playing F1 world but same thing happens and these are only short races around 5 laps.
every other game I play works no problem so it’s definitely not the console, there is a bug in the game and an update is required to resolve but probably won’t see one in the near future as the game is over a year since released 🤬
