I turn Safety Car frequency on Increased for my Career Modes and I’m currently on Austria and there has been no Safety Car or Red Flag in my Career mode yet. Also, when cars retire with engine failures and park up on the side of the track, they shouldn’t be covered with yellow flags only, there should be a Safety Car. I hope this issue can be resolved.

I also have it on increased, yet I've had quite a few safety cars. They mostly seem to happen when there's a major incident. I agree that if a car retires and parks up in an "unsafe position" then irl this would also cause a safety car. However, I wouldn't want the game to bring the safety car out every time someone retired, which is what I could see happening in this game 😅
