EA_cuervo Guys! Why not go back to the previous version? I was reading the notes from the 1.13 update and the changes are minimal. I saw that the problem isn’t just with Logitech, but also with Thrustmaster. The game is expensive, and the steering wheel to play it is even more expensive. Fifteen days to get a solution, my God!

Cpayne32 I’m sure there are well established processes in place for testing prior to release. But we are not talking about some crazy edge case or a random device that was unexpectedly effected. The peripherals that the patch broke are precisely the devices it was intended to support on the most widely used platform. The issue also requires no effort to replicate as it affects every race as soon as the game starts. This should have been caught immediately if they did any sort of proper testing, so forgive me if I lost faith in the process.
In any normal situation, if one of the primary reasons for the patch was not only not fixed, but also made the intended devices unusable, it should have been rolled back immediately, as that indicated a fundamental failure. The complete lack of urgency and transparency just means EA can’t be bothered to accept their mistake and take the necessary actions.
I was willing to be understanding a week ago but this has gone on way too long. There’s simply no reason for something that users were able to diagnose in 5 minutes to take this long to fix.

That's even worse. You tested (how) a patch that doesn't work and released it breaking the game experience of everyone on Logitech and Thurstmaster. Now, what is the difficilty of releasing an hotfix reverting the support to 1.12 version and then release the corrected 1.13? 14 days without the possibility to play a game that I've paid 85 f*****g euros, for what? A f*****g s**t tested patch.

The issue is that while it is possible to rollback an update on steam, consoles isn’t as easy and could result in save data being lost if not backed up or compatibility issues with the servers.
This isn’t me defending EA but the issue is wider than logitech wheels so a solution has to potentially be found for each brand which could explain the delay.

There will be no rolleback or a stand alone fix because it's an admission of failure as Aylow1711 mention below and EA doesn't want to acknowledge that, it makes them look bad, they don't care if you and i can't play the game because we are not anymore cash cows to be milked, a fix will be released with the next regular patch in november, where the fix will be stated among other small fixes as...fixed a problem where the ffb doesn't work properly for SOME Logitech wheels...(while all of them are affected including thrustmaster) They will try to minimise the problem as much as they can...for them Jennie is still in the bottle.. meaning that the discussion about the problem is only on their forum and on Reedit, if Jennie will be out of the bottle then you'll see how quick they will release an hotfix...for now all they want from you is to stop moaning about and start saving money to buy their next crap F1 26...
As far I'm concerned I'm done with them for life...for me this is not acceptable!
Things can happen? Sorry but I'm not swallowing that...end of the world can happen tomorrow...but it won't.

EA_cuervo Following up on this thread again.. as you can see by the other comments the delay/lack of any information, patch or rollback plan is now heavily affecting the Customer Satisfaction. This is a game-breaking issue that essentially renders it unplayable until this is fixed, and those (like myself) who play this game competitively in Leagues have essentially had any chance of performing well in them stripped away now, simply because of issues with a peripheral.
I appreciate this is becoming a 'Don't shoot the messenger' deal but as our only contact point, you need to escalate this as in all honesty this isn't what we expect from one of the Biggest and most Successful Game Developers on the planet.

Issue is with the force feedback, feels choppy and unpredictable (like the first beta). it always happens, it’s like Theres a dead zone in the middle of a wheel and it’s bouncing back and forth in between it, it happens on ps5
All game modes
