I started with a night race and had no apparent problems. The second race was a day race and, as soon as we started free practice, sector 1 and sector 2 in Australia, the shadows completely disappear...
Ideas
I had a similar issue where the shadows were disappearing as the car moved. Verified integrity of the game and it downloaded 3 files. That resolved my issue. I hope it works.
Edit: The issue came back. I’ll just use ray tracing instead of path tracing.
