F125 Crashes After 5-10 minutes
F125 crashes to desktop after playing for 5-10 minutes. Game will freeze with audio stuck on that exact moment for 5-10 seconds before crashing to desktop with no error message. Each time it crashes I verify files and between 1-11 files consistently fail to validate. On each start of the game the EA anticheat installer runs which leads me to believe that the anticheat has some sort of issue. I have tried the following: - Fresh install - Verifying files - Uninstalling hardware settings - Repairing EA anticheat through the EA Javelin Anticheat setup - Ensuring PC is in secure boot - Uninstalling just the .exe file and verifying files - Updating windows - Updating graphics drivers None of these have worked and I am stuck crashing. DxDiag file is attached.Video Settings Reset Every Launch
I have two monitors; the main one is 3440x1440. I launch the game via Steam, and the game opens up at 1920x1080. I have to adjust the Video Settings every time I launch the game. Of course, I apply the changes, and I can play on the full monitor, but it is quite annoying.AA ghosting/pixelated shadowing on all night races
Basically anything that has a shadow is rendered pixelated and horrible it's all over the halo column in cockpit view and is so distracting from the race because it's flickers all around the halo. Also this shadowy ghosting also occurs on anything contrast to the dark sky, billboards, the lights other cars in front of you. It's really terrible and it was and STILL is present all F1 23, 24 and now 25.Bug Report – VR / PS VR2 – F1 25 (PC/Steam)
Platform: PC (Steam) Headset: PS VR2 via official PC adapter + SteamVR CPU: Intel Core i5-14600K | GPU: RTX 9060 XT Issue: When entering gameplay (garage or driving), the left and right eye rendering becomes misaligned and uncalibrated, causing severe distortion and an uncentered view. Resetting the VR position does not fix the issue. The problem occurs exclusively in F1 25 — all other VR-compatible games work correctly with the same headset and setup, without any additional configuration. Steps to reproduce: 1. Connect PS VR2 via official PC adapter 2. Launch SteamVR 3. Launch F1 25 in VR mode 4. Enter any gameplay session (garage or on track) Expected behavior: Both eyes render correctly aligned, providing a stable and centered stereoscopic view. Actual behavior: Each eye points in a diverging direction, causing distortion and an unplayable experience. Additional notes: - Editing hardware_settings_config_vr.xml (stencilMesh, TAA, post-processing) did not resolve the issue. - Disabling Motion Smoothing and setting SteamVR to 120Hz did not resolve the issue. - The bug has been reported by multiple users on the EA Forums and Steam Discussions, suggesting it is a systematic issue with PS VR2 + SteamVR on F1 25, not an isolated case.F1 2025 Crashes On Launch - Steam - No Missing Files
Hello, Currently reporting being unable to launch F1 2025 on my system. I'm launching the game through Steam. The application displays the following behavior on launch: If the install is fresh or files verified, Javelin Anti-Cheat is installed. The F1 2025 initial loading screen appears, the "starting Javelin Anti-Cheat" bar appears for a few seconds. The menu bar transfers to "launching game", for a few frames, then disappears. The game returns to "Play" on steam, indicating that it crashed. Event logger states the below when checking for any application errors: The game f1_25.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xFFFFFFFF -------------- Exception code: 0xC0000005 Exception address: 0x14381CF54 Faulting module name: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 25\F1_25.exe, base: 0x140000000 Fault offset: 0x381CF54 I'm aware that there are many, many posts about being unable to launch F1 2025 with varying suggested solutions and I've exhausted all options I could find currently. I believe that this post differs from the active one (13089408) as when I verify my files, none are listed as missing. My system specs can be found in the DxDiag.txt file that I've attached. There is a post that I found that had something similar to my issue (same exception code, post ID 12538538), but this post was marked as "Fixed" without a listed solution on it. If it was actually solved, please provide the solution given for this issue. Things I have attempted to resolve the issue: PC Restart (this was used after every step described below to confirm changes.) Verification of game files (This will prompt the application to reinstall Javelin Anti-Cheat, but with the same behavior. No files are listed as missing) Confirmation that my GPU is not overclocked/underclocked/retuned Update of all Graphics Drivers, BIOS, and chipset drivers Update of windows to current build (I saw some suggestions to roll back my windows, but the post was 6 months old and many windows updates have occurred since. If I need to roll back, please specify a version number or which update to remove.) Fresh re-install of the game Deletion of the hardware xml file (this file does not populate as the game does not launch) Checking the game logs (these do not populate where referenced on the forums) Ensure that any conflicting applications are not running (I have ended task on every application on my computer that is non-essential prior to attempting to open F1 2025) Disconnect of all peripheral devices prior to game start (I play using a G920 racing wheel, but have disconnected it prior to launch. I have also tried every case with it connected.) Running as administrator Ensuring that F1 2025 is allowed through my firewall Independent reinstall and attempted repair of Javelin Anti-Cheat Modifying the "hardwaresetting" folder (this does not populate) Please let me know if you need any further information and advise further. I purchased the game on 4/2/2026, and will troubleshoot until 4/14/2026.Can't download F1 25 from library - says I don't own it
My husband purchased F1 25 for my son on his account. However, my son actually plays on my account. Over the last few days, I have spent 3 hours on chat with various different people who have now told me that they can't help anymore and to try posting here. The guys on EA chat merged my husband's and my account and I can see the game in my library but cannot get it to download as it tells me I do not own the game. It has been 4 days since accounts were merged. Can anyone help? Can't help thinking this is some con to make us buy it again....Loss of FFB / Steering Weight - DualSense PS5 Multiplayer League Race
Platform: PS5 Device: DualSense Controller Game Mode: Multiplayer / League Race Report Code: HGJS-SJHL-TXXD-CRTG Issue Description: I am experiencing a recurring and frustrating bug with the Force Feedback on my DualSense controller during online League Races. Suddenly, and often coinciding with another player leaving the lobby or a change in track conditions (yellow/red flags), the controller stops transmitting the weight of the car. This makes it almost impossible to feel the grip limit or the car's balance, making the driving experience numb and unpredictable. Interestingly, while the steering weight and main FFB disappear, the vibrations for the kerbs sometimes remain active, which suggests a partial failure in the telemetry data stream to the haptic motors. Steps taken: Adaptive Triggers are set to "Medium". Vibration/FFB settings are at 100 (though I have tried lowering them). UDP Telemetry is OFF. The issue occurs regardless of the connection method: I have experienced it both while playing wireless and while using a wired USB connection. The only temporary fix is to quickly pause the game. However, once I return to the race, the Force Feedback only comes back for the duration of the next braking zone, before disappearing again as soon as I start accelerating. In a competitive League Race, this is extremely dangerous and often leads to losing positions or crashing. Is this a known issue with the PS5 haptic feedback synchronization in multiplayer? Are there any official workarounds? [Thread moved from F1 25 IT to F1 25 EN, please review the guidelines to find the right language board for your post. EA_Claus]F1 25 Silent Crash after "Launching Game" - RTX 5070 Laptop (Legion 5 Pro)
Description: The game goes through Javelin Anti-Cheat, shows "Launching Game," and then closes back to EA App without error. Description: The game passes the Javelin Anti-Cheat screen, shows the "Launching Game" message, and then closes back to the EA App without any error code. My FC 25 is working perfectly on Ultra settings, confirming the hardware and drivers are stable. The issue is exclusive to F1 25. System Specs: GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop (Driver 595.97) CPU: Intel Core i9/i7 14th/15th Gen OS: Windows 11 (Latest build) Laptop Model: Lenovo Legion 5 Pro (2026) Troubleshooting steps taken (None of these worked): EA Anti-Cheat Management: Reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat using EAanticheat.Installer.exe specifically for F1 25. Repaired the service and set EAAntiCheatService to "Automatic" in Windows Services. Cleared EA App cache (App Recovery). Deleted EAAntiCheat.Sys to force a clean driver regeneration. Windows Security & Permissions: Set both F1_25.exe and EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe to "Run as Administrator." Manually installed Digital Signature certificates into "Trusted Root Certification Authorities." Disabled Memory Integrity (Core Isolation) and Control Flow Guard (CFG) for the game executable. Verified Secure Boot is ENABLED in BIOS. Graphics & System Tweaks: Disabled Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS). Attempted launch arguments: -windowed, -noborder, -dx12, and -novid. Disabled NVIDIA In-Game Overlay and Shader Cache. Cleaned Documents/My Games (though the game fails before even creating the folder). Conflict Resolution: Disabled Nahimic, SteelSeries GG, and Riot Vanguard services. Updated Intel Smart Sound drivers (DPC Latency fix). Disconnected all peripherals (controllers/wheels), launching only with the laptop keyboard. Conclusion: Since other EA titles (FC 25) work flawlessly, this appears to be a kernel-level conflict between the EGO Engine and the new RTX 50 series architecture. Please investigate if a compatibility hotfix is required for these new GPUs.F1 25 Crash in local split-screen at finish line
Hi, I need to report a Bug in the Split Screen mode with two players. In local multiplayer (split screen mode), using two PS5 controllers, the game crashes instantly the moment the second player finishes the race. This happens consistently, regardless of track or game mode (quick race, grand prix, etc). The game closes without any error message or warning , just exits to desktop (or main menu on console). No podium screen or results are shown. We tested it with: Two DualSense PS5 controllers Also tried with G29 + controller (same issue) Steps to reproduce: 1. Start a split-screen race (local multiplayer) 2. Play normally with two players 3. Let Player 2 cross the finish line second 4. Game crashes immediately Platform: PC Game version: F1 25 (latest patch) Crash reproducible: 100% Workarounds tried: Different input devices, graphics settings, FPS cap no change. Please investigate and fix, this makes local multiplayer completely unusable.
