We are going to need more information on this issue:
- What game modes were you playing before having this issue? (i.e.: if you moved from Career Mode to Grand Prix...)
- Other than the red flag, did you do any other actions in-game? (i.e.: changing settings, minimising the title...)
- Which platforms are you playing on?
- What flag did you got in that race? Did you get time penalties or something more?

Bought the game yesterday through Steam on PC. Went straight into myteam career. Full season. Icons disabled. Difficulty 88. Track: Suzuka, Japan. 35% race.
Verstappen spun at final corner which brought Red flag at lap 11/19. My position went from p11 to p20.
No other position changed.
No other actions done. Uninterrupted race upto the red flag grid reset. Didn't even pause the game before.
No warnings or penalties of any kind.
My strategy was to undercut. I pit when I was p2 on lap 6 and came out at the back of the grid. I was first to pit and most cars were yet to pit even upto the red flag. Maybe this can help replicate the bug.
