After patch V1.07 I can no longer play a race at Silverstone, the FPS drops sharply and becomes very low, between 20 and 50 fps, the game stutters, I noticed that this only happens at Silverstone

GRoguet... My PC was running the game fine and well... full graphics... And jsut after the update... all races and circuits im having the drops of frame... It is not our cpu´s and gpu´s... it is the update that make the game worse... Correct it and dont make our setups part of your/EA fault...
You have misunderstood what Groguet is saying. He is not blaming your CPU, he is acknowledging that the game is sending a bad/ unoptimized call to the CPU which therefore takes longer to process then it should which results in the dropped frames.
If they were blaming your CPU they wouldn't be pushing a hotfix out early next week.
