Game freezes for a second and disconnects my wheel
Basically, I've been playing F1 25 on the latest version, and I seem to keep having problems with playing it with my wheel. My wheel is a Maxx Tech Pro Force Feedback Wheel, and whenever it works it works great, the force feedback is really nice. Only when I use it for 5 minutes it just freezes my game and then disconnects my wheel entirely. On Windows I hear it disconnect and reconnect but then the game doesn't recognize the wheel only until I disconnect it physically with the wire and reconnect. I try again but again within 5 minutes it just freezes my game and disconnects the wheel entirely, then I have to do the whole process again. I simply cannot find a fix for this so can anyone help please? Thanks.F125 Crashes After 5-10 minutes
F125 crashes to desktop after playing for 5-10 minutes. Game will freeze with audio stuck on that exact moment for 5-10 seconds before crashing to desktop with no error message. Each time it crashes I verify files and between 1-11 files consistently fail to validate. On each start of the game the EA anticheat installer runs which leads me to believe that the anticheat has some sort of issue. I have tried the following: - Fresh install - Verifying files - Uninstalling hardware settings - Repairing EA anticheat through the EA Javelin Anticheat setup - Ensuring PC is in secure boot - Uninstalling just the .exe file and verifying files - Updating windows - Updating graphics drivers None of these have worked and I am stuck crashing. This is not the first time it has happened to me, but it has happened to me at a crucial point in my league race season. Just so you know this is not an internet issue, it is a GAME issue, because this has never happened on any F1 games or just other sim racing games. The lagging only stops when i turn off my wheel base, and my wheel base is the simagic alpha evo which is 12nm. 12!!!! If a game can't handle a 12nm base then its a disgrace. Just a reminder this has never happened to me on any other game then f1 25, so if you tell me that its an issue with my setup, then that is just utter incompetence to optimise a game well enough for mid range equipment, here are the 2 clips below which as you can see happened in the same race within a matter of laps. F1 25 crashes with connected PXN V10 Pro wheel
I use the PXN V10 Pro wheel. Every time I try to complete the lap the game crashes without any information. It's just freezing and than closing. I tried all the options from another bug reports but nothing can help. Maybe it's possible to fix this somehow?Wheel freezing in online races
Wheel and pedals freezing in online races with over like 7 people. It happens suddenly and usually in corners. And in offline mode everything works fine. I have stable connection and good pc but now suddenly when i started playing again this happens, and it makes the racing undoable. I've been encountering an issue on F1 25 where the game just freezes. It stops taking inputs and this will happen for 10-15 seconds most of the time but sometimes it'll keep going onto upwards of 30 seconds. This is a rather common occurance and has been happening a lot to me lately. I'd love a fix for this since I like to do long races and the game freezes on me 5 laps in and next thing I know I'm in the barrier and got damage. My rig was the following hardware: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3080, 64GB of DDR4. I have the game installed on a SSD and use a Moza R5 wheel base to play. I have all my overlays (discord and nvidia) turned off since I saw that was an issue that'd cause the freezes as well. Please help me fix this as soon as possibleWhat happen with my game? Yesterday, I was preparing to play in an important league here in my region when suddenly, an hour before my game started, my game began lagging absurdly in the menu and the game itself no longer ran at a smooth 60 fps like it did before with V-Sync enabled... It's been like this ever since and I don't know what to do to fix it. I've literally tried everything software-related, don't give me any excuses, I want a definitive solution from you because all my other games work normally. Currently running an Oculus Quest 3. This has been happening for a few games now, but sometimes when switching between VR and flat mode (eg between sitting in the garage and looking at the garage screen) Steam VR can sometimes freeze and crash. I've tried every troubleshooting method under the sun and the game freezes and crashes after just minutes. Other games on my Xbox, even those of similar size to f1 25, work absolutely fine. Support chats have not been able to help. Not even a dodgy game file as I initially bought it off the xbox store, refunded it and tried a key from amazone. Neither working
