Silverstone unplayable after patch V1.07

Hey there,

The dev team has identified a specific CPU call to calculate race conditions that could occasionally take longer than expected. When this occurs, CPU load could be higher on certain frames. On some CPUs, this could cause framerate drops, especially when running at very high (>100) FPS.

We are issuing an initial fix in a patch that is due early next week and will continue to monitor outcomes.

The same thing is happening for me, I had no issues in v1.0.6. Getting massive frame drops in every game mode I've tried.

Weirdest one is in breaking point, when the AI is in charge of the car before it hands it over the frame rate is perfect, as soon as I'm in charge it becomes unplayable. Drops from a steady 165 frames down to 33.

Same issues are happening in career mode, breaking point, and in time trials.

RTX 5070 and High preset with RT here, GPU usage goes to 99% and fps drops on various tracks, which wasn't happening before. One example would be Imola near the tight chicanes. Changing graphics settings only saves me a few fps

Benchmark mode seems ok. Problem happens to me in Race mode (Grand Prix), in all tracks I’ve tried to play for now: Brazil, Japan, Netherlands. Low FPS and extreme lag. Even in ‘Very Low’ graphics profile. PC, Steam. NVIDIA RTX 5070, Intel i9, T300 / SF1000 wheel.  Thanks.

Samething here on Japan and Netherlands. Seems to be affecting all tracks. 

Happens to me in My Team races. I play on PC and last week everything was fine.

Hi.. PC use here... i9-13900k / rtx 5080 / 32gb ram

Yesterday my game begins to lag right after 1st lap... Im running 50% races on grand prix, for practice for private championships. I tried update the gpu driver, but it doesnt help, even getting back to older drivers.

It only happens on a race, right after lap 1... the game begin to lose fps and get lagged, causing me a lot of rythm and pace... Tried down graphics, resolution, but the problem persists.

Tried different tracks... all of them happens!! 

Gpu and Cpu temps and usage all far from the limit.

Is it a game or driver update?

Anyone has a clue for what to do??
