Squad battles free kick

Currently playing squad battles and received a free kick just outside the box. I swapped kick taker and held circle to take the shot. As soon as I pressed circle the screen glitched and my kick taker reverted to the original kick taker. I can't do anything but my game is currently stuck in the free kick animation even though I have taken the shot. When I enter replay it shows my team all stood in the formation I'm playing on the pitch, but when not in replay my team is stood waiting on a free kick being taken.
