the game opens, Antycheat opens. Then it says ‘Game is starting’ and it crashes. I am sent back to the EA Desktop app, where it says: ‘Due to an error on our part, the game could not be started.’

Hello, try putting your PC offline then uninstall and reinstall EA Javelin anti cheat then try to start the game first offline then online and check if it works, if it doesn't work you can try clearing the cache of the EA app, if it still doesn't work you can first make a backup of the EA SPORT 26 folder (located in C:\Users\your user\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26) then delete the original folder so as to force the game to recreate clean data from the last update.
