Can't Get Out of Ultimate Team Mode

I've restarted, unplugged, etc, but still can't get out of Ultimate Team Mode. It just stays on the team selection page and I cannot get out -- the "B" button is unresponsive. Every time I exit the game and start over it defaults here and I cannot get out. Please help!
