When I try to turn the cross-play slider on, it automatically turns itself back off when i move away from that screen.

PS5 Issue, and crossplay works on all other non-EA games
yea i have the same [removed] problem and i deleted my game and now it’s gonna take an hour to reinstall 😐am pretty [removed]

This specific issue was a PSN over the weekend as per here!
This issue was with PlayStation specifically, and not the game(s)
When the PS and Xbox servers have issues, you typically get two types of errors:
Game won't connect
your console profile makes you log back in
I had to do both once the PS servers came back up. This is now resolved and everyone should be able to log back into the game.
