Franchise: Player demanding certain amount of stat(s) glitch
I've seen this all over the Internet and I legitimately have no idea how no one has patched this yet. It cannot be that hard.
Being a coach in the franchise mode, a player each season (sometimes multiple) will demand to be more involved in the offense, and will ask to have a certain amount of yards or a certain amount of receptions and rushing attempts, or a combination. At the end of the season, if the player has more than the amount of whichever specific stat(s) they requested, it's a tossup of whether they will be happy or still be mad and say "the head coach didn't follow up on their promise."
For example, Malik Nabers demanded that he have 100 receptions and 20 rushing attempts. At the end of the season, he had 130 receptions and 31 rushing attempts. I went out of my way to accommodate his request. Then, there was a "storyline" player meeting, and he told me he was disappointed that I did not follow through on my promise and that he did not get the requested amount of receptions/rushing attempts. It dropped my team morale, and eventually he ended up demanding a trade, EVEN THOUGH I DID EXACTLY WHAT HE REQUESTED.
Seriously, is it that difficult to fix this? The fact that we pay EA to be able to play this game, and then we have to skip the "features" that they put in the game because they are completely broken and have not been fixed after months of the game being out, is absolutely ridiculous. It's laughable, even.
I doubt EA will do anything even remotely helpful/relevant to fix this problem, and I'm sure the problem will persist into Madden 26, but I figured I would report it anyway. You're embarrassing yourselves, EA.
