Genki Fusion Chems not working

I have both the Justin Herbert and Harrison Smith versions of the Genki Fushion cards, and the team and flame chems are not working for either card.  They appear to be receiving 40/40 TT boosts, but they themselves do not add to the 40 player count, and their chems are crossed out on the lineup page, despite being at their natural postions.
