Hi,
I'll try to be as detailed as I can with this bug, hoping it can be fixed, as it seems this has been an issue in previous Madden versions and Madden 26 cannot be played in Xbox One.
Playing Franchise Mode, once I reach year 2032, from Week 12 and beyond, when a game finishes and tries to go back to the main screen, trying to generate the Save file, the game crashes and takes you all the way back to the console's main screen.
When I load the game again and try to load the automatically generated "save" file that was supposed to get generated upon exit, Madden does not show "Loading", instead shows "Finding My Leagues" and goes back to show the list of all the saved files. If I try to load the latest manually saved game, 9/10 times, the same thing happens, which means, the games cannot be loaded. If I generate 2 or 3 copies of the same location (week), strangely enough, they may get corrupted as well. If they don't, the game maintains the same behaviour when trying to exit the game.
When being within the game, you can even do the Super Sim, and it will happen (no need to play the whole game). One occasion I had to simulate the weeks until the SB and I was able to play the SB, but that didn't work the second time. Once a new season starts, everything works fine.
Workaround attempts (all unsuccessful):
- Unplug the console from power
- Uninstall the game
- Simulate week by week from the week where it first crashes in the season, trying to find one where it doesn't crash.
- Super Sim
- Simulate to PlayOffs
- Simulate to SB (it only worked once as I mentioned above)
I hope this helps and the team is able to fix this. I'd love to play Madden 26 but:
1.- I think this is a major bug that might even carry out to that version of the game
2.- I believe Madden 26 only runs on Xbox Series X/S, which many users, including me, do not have
If you need me to run any other tests or need more information, I'll be happy to help.
Thanks and cheers,
Alfonso
