I play head to head online with opponents all over the country, the game sometimes is a little slow, but when I play my friend in Jacksonville, Florida the game is so slow with so much lag the game is unplayable.
We both tested our internet speed and we are both 500mbs Down and 500mbs Up.
We both reinstalled the EA app, Steam app and Madden 25 game.
We both ran tracert to our IP Addresses. Nothing seems odd. Except request timeouts after I go through the Miami Fiber Backbone, I understand that a lot of routers wont accept ping requests for secutity reasons.
I understand that our Madden 25 data goes through EA Servers. We both aggree that, that is where the bottleneck exists.
I play this same opponent from New York to Jacksonville and there is still some lag but the game is pretty much playable.
We play other online games together and all is well, The only issue we have is with Madden NFL 25.
Any resolution or help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
