Please review the properties of all ASA cards. There are a lot of issues in chat board around Line-up glitches.
I’m pretty sure you will find the root of this issue if the ASA cards are reevaluated.

Agree, this seems to be the cause and it may not be limited to BNDs. My issue started after completing a set for a 98 Ed Jones champion.
Put him up for auction at max price. Then try to edit your line up. This is a test. Since yours is non BND you have another option.

So I did a little more research on my end. I found all the problem players by using the “Catalog” module.
If you filter down to the “All Star Athletes”, and check the last “Ability Slot” in the “Upgrades Tab” on each player; you will find an empty slot for some of the players.
These null values are the issue.
These are the Cards causing the issues.
I only checked a few. 98 WR Calvin Johnson, 98 CB Anthony Edwards, 98 LE Ed Too Tall Jones all had empty buckets.
I suspected 98 QB Charlie Ward would not have an empty bucket as he is my current QB. My hypothesis was correct. Run & Gun occupies the slot that is missing for the problem cards.
