BAP Powerplay Bug

At some point during an off-ice sim, the game gave my team a 5-on-4 powerplay. There have been no penalties yet, and neither scoring nor simming to next shift brings back even strength. Below is a video that shows 5-on-4 after a goal and no penalties.

Hi there. Thanks for the report. I've sent this off to the team for review.

    How frequently is it happening?

Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep an eye out for other reports. Hopefully, it's a one time occurrence.

  • I am playing on Xbox Series X and I have been having that problem as well, about 5 times while playing Be a Pro this has occurred. The game seems stuck in an infinite special teams situation because if a penalty is taken by the team on the powerplay then it becomes infinite 4 on 4 until the game ends. I had it occurred twice in 3 games during a recent play session.

So it is still happening randomly (I tried tweaking the penalty time scaling but the bug will eventually come back) but a new version of the bug is the 5 on 4 is still infinite but additional penalties still work normally like the game would recognize that it is a 5 on 3 and it would end like it should but it still return to 5 on 4 with no UI notice (No Powerplay clock on the scoreboard) but if a goal is scored by the team with the advantage, the UI would still call it a PP goal
