Created players cut in franchise

I have over 50 created players for franchise mode so far, and almost all of the players drafted in 2024 are dropped I've given them a contact and they get bought out. If they have Med elite potential they get signed or are not bought out but if they have lower they end up in free agency. They also have 10 year unsigned periods for some reason. Any one else seen this?
