Hey, NHL Community! If you come across any issues with NHL 25 that you'd like to report as a bug, please get them posted in the bug reports forum.
Before you submit a bug report, please use the search bar and look for key words related to what you're seeing. An example of a key word could be "freezing," or the name of a player, game mode, Pack, etc. Please click the upvote button in the thread if you are affected by an issue just like you would the "Me Too" button on AHQ.
Unlike AHQ the EA Forums does not require a template. Please utilize the tags feature instead. You'll find these at the bottom of your post like this:

To help make sure your post is in the right place, let's go over the difference between a bug and a technical issue.
Technical issues are problems that can often be solved with some troubleshooting. Connection and installation problems are some pretty common technical issues.
Examples below should be posted on the Technical Issues board
- Connectivity (disconnections, lag, unable to access account)
- Account issues, change email/password/security question etc.
- Account action/banned
- Trouble installing the game
Bugs are problems you can't fix by yourself or with the help of our support team. We'll usually need to replicate the issue ourselves, then we can start working on a fix. Sometimes a patch or update to the game will be needed to apply the fix. Here are some examples:
- Audio Problems
- Crash/Freeze
- Exploit
- Gameplay
It's important to be as specific as possible when submitting a bug report.
We're looking for the following details:
- Steps needed to reproduce the issue
- Platform
- Screenshots/video
- Date/time it happened
- Any troubleshooting steps you've already tried
A new feature for EA Forums, we now have publicly visible statuses for bugs reported here which I will explain in more detail below.
- New: Newly created threads default to this state.
- Troubleshooting: This bug is currently being troubleshot by EA staff or Community Connections Program members.
- Resolved: This issue turned out not to be a bug during troubleshooting.
- Under Investigation: This issue is being looked into by the NHL dev team.
- Confirmed: The NHL dev team have confirmed this is a bug.
- Needs Info: This needs further Info like screenshots, videos, reproduction steps, etc.
- Fixed: This issue has been resolved as per patch notes or other users.
- Declined: This issue was declined for whatever reason (Collection of several issues in one post, unsupported language, etc.)
- Not a bug: This issue is confirmed to be by design by the NHL dev team.
- Duplicate: This already has a thread. See link provided in the thread.
