New update has affected Franchise Mode trades
The new update has caused the wrong player to be selected when using the "Find Trade" function. I selected one player, pressed Triangle on PS to find a trade, and it found results for a different player. Line and pairing chemistry is also affected and is now suffering extreme lag (but seems to be functioning).
Pass Icon Bug
Pass icon for tape to tape, one tee, or stretch passing is not working. Under the settings tab, I have numerous times during periods made sure “ icon passing” is on.. it never saves.!!!! Ea why? As a valued customer buying always deluxe editions, this bug or change needs to be explained!! After only a battle pass update this should not be an issue!!
What happened to my save file?
I played through from the end of the season to the start of the next season in Franchise mode. I take a long time to play and go day by day. This is is almost 10+ hours of gameplay, I last saved and turned off my Xbox last night (11/11) at 9/23/2025 in-game. Turning on my Xbox today, I've been returned to 5/17/2025 in game (this is before draft, free agency, and preseason). Last save says 11/8 (real date). This is a pretty devastating loss of gameplay, and confirmed I played on 11/10 and 11/11, so the mode was saved yesterday. Where can I find the data?
Icon passing bug CLUBS 3v3
There is an issue that was repeatable this evening after playing 3v3 clubs in EASHL. If ICON Passing switches to "off" and you change ICON passing to "on" in the menus during period intermission the error will occur. My friend and I repeated this after stumbling across it during a game. I noticed on PS5 when holding down pass to bring up the icons, the icons were not coming up. In between periods I turned my setting back to "on". Period begins and when I attempted an icon pass, the screen flickers and reverts back to the faceoff dot. Weird. Few game minutes later, I attempt another icon pass, same thing. Quick flash and back to the same faceoff from a few minutes before. This issue was not happening prior to the patch that I noticed, as my icon passing would not revert to off in the past. I generally only use ICON passing to exit the zone on stretch passes, as I play D and my friend plays wing in 3v3 CHEL .
