The hustle button does not work for defensemen in World of Chel, unless you have the puck. This makes it so every forward can blow past you even if your speed matches theirs. I have noticed my energy bar doesn't drop at all while playing defense so I tested this in the load out testing. The hustle button actually slows your acceleration down if using it immediately from a stop. Feel free to test this for yourself and you will even see an animation change.
