Is there a line change glitch fix coming?

We're aware of the issue with defenders playing in forward positions when changing lines. That is currently being investigated so no need at this point for more videos/screenshots.

Sorry, I haven't logged in in awhile! Thanks again for replying. Saw the patch come out and crossed my fingers (I haven't turned the game on since sadly, but Silent Hill 2 kept me occupied lol), but no line change fix :(

What was it you wanted me to screenshot? I know you know already what's happening with the lines, is it the line change setup I mentioned. I can turn it on and grab that yes when I get a chance. To claify a bit more, aside from L1, L2, L3, when you go to special teams, when setting lines, instead of it just being text, it's pictures of the players, where they set up on the ice, etc and it's really clogged up (just my personal opinion) and didn't know if there was an option to have the text only.

Hopefully, we'll see this addressed in a future update. It has been reported to the team.

Can you get me a screenshot of what you're asking? Unfortunately, I don't play Franchise Mode so I'm not quite sure what you're wanting to change.

I didn't mean everyone's* bread and butter. But for shooters, sports games and kids games, MT are huge now sadly. My favourite person to get a kick out of is the person playing a first person shooter who pays for a skin 😂 Had to add that last part.

Thanks again for replying! Microtransactions are everyone's bread and butter now sadly (however I don't play anything online so I get to avoid it lol). 

I get they did put work into Franchise mode (that was a big reason I bought again this year). But so far it's harder to use than previous years with my line changes are super slow to the point where I don't want to bother with them, the set up style picture in PP and PK lines (where it shows your players picture and where they'll line up, is there an option to change that? I looked but didn't see one) instead of it just being straight up lines, the ultra reduced pre game with the silly crowd lights. These are all things I can overlook though if the line changes are fixed. 

To be fair though, I'm only 11 games into my franchise and can't play anymore (non sim player), so it could be great if they fix the glitch, hopefully I'll get to see what else it offers with the updated contracts, etc when I get there.

We don't only care about mictrotransactions. There was a huge amount of work that went into Franchise Mode this year. If we only cared about microtransactions, this mode wouldn't even be available. I sincerely hope we'll have this addressed soon. We'll have to wait and see if that's the case or not.

No, I get it's not you directly of course. Certain things in a game can be overlooked, but now an $80 game just has to sit there unplayable because it doesn't work and they may or may not fix it. They always worked since the dawn of EA hockey, it seems like it'd be an easy fix. I know they are only concerned about microstransactions and the offline players are an afterthought, but that's still a lot of people paying for it to lose.

I understand this is a big issue. I just don't have any details on when this will be addressed. Obviously, it would be good to see it handled sooner than later.

Hopefully?? It's literally one one of, if not THE most important aspect of the game. It's like someone buying COD but having no reload button, or playing Mario but can't jump. This is unreal.

I decided to give it one more try. Tonight it had a new line change glitch. Even post whistle the correct lines won't come out.

Example my PK1 is Kampf and Pacioretty. For the faceoff the game randomly sends out Kampf and Knies

Next whistle, I put out PK2, Matthews and Knies. The game sends Matthews and Robertson.

This isn't a minor gameplay bug, it's possibly the most important aspect of the game and no one cares. We should get refunds since it's actually broken, literally paid for a game we cannot play. It's not even about the money, that's irrelevant, they should just have the deceny to fix it or take the game back.

Hi there. I still don't have an update on line changes. Hopefully, we'll see this addressed in a future update.

As far as presentation goes, that's something that would have to wait until a future game.
