Name Entry Issue

I am playing the game using the xbox game pass cloud gaming on the pc. For the first 1.5 days worth of playing I was able to create expansion teams in franchise mode without a problem. Now, every time I get to the team name section, it defaults to the previous team I created and won't let me change the team name, nickname, abbreviation, or arena name. When I try to type it in I can enter the information I want, but it doesn't recognize I am typing characters and when I try to save it, it defaults back to the last team name I used and won't accept what I entered. If I just accept what was previously there, I can't move past the owner name as I have the same problem. This is specific to all modes in the game that require a name to be entered manually. 

I seem to remember an update to the game immediately before this started, although I am not sure if this is the cause.

I have tried logging out and back into my EA and Xbox accounts, resetting, repairing, and uninstalling/reinstalling the xbox app, and clearing the cache and I still have the same problem.

I am looking for guidance on getting this resolved.
