No penalties on computer in franchise

Can somebody from EA please explain to me why I'm 50 games into my first franchisee season and the computers yet to take one penalty not one there's been one fight and they've taken zero penalties. The number of penalties I take is realistic but the fact that they have I've had zero power plays 50 games into the season makes it pretty unrealistic. Other than that I really have enjoyed the play enjoy the franchise mode but this is making it tougher I mean not even just a couple or hasn't been one penalty called against the computer and that's not a very realistic just wondering if I got something wrong or I got all the sliders with as far as they can go just can't get them to call a penalty on them
