Player contract promises

When you go negotiate a contract extention and make phimosis, but then back out. The player still expects you to make the promise even though no extension was signed. Very silly.  Also when you extend a contract for the minors the promises should be for the next year not the comment then they get mad. Also... why does a 20 year old with a 70 overall only want a 1 way deal instead of a 2way. They should not be asking for 1way deal until at least overall 79.
