Player stuck in trade pile

I got base 81 Brady Tkachuk from a pack and put him straight into my trade pile to sell him. Now I cannot sell him or put him into my collection. When trying to auction I get a "Item already part of an active offer" message. When trying to put into my collection I get "This item cannot be added to the set". I don't know if this is related to my making the 85 Next Gen Tim Stutzle, since I had to use the same card to make that set. However, I got this card (a 2nd one) from a pack after I had already done that, and double checked that he's not part of that set now.
