In previous versions, the player would be offered a contract by multiple teams after the entry level contract expires when they hit free agency, but this no longer happens. The announcer says "he's signed a contract extension" without any details which is a little lame since salary is important to progressing the character. Can you bring this back if it's not a bug? Thanks.

A future update my guy? Be real there’s no BaP update coming we haven’t had a BaP update for 3 years..if EA is actually listening to feedback the whole BaP needs an over haul. Why am I not included in my contract negotiations? Why is the game telling me I’m celebrating my third Stanley Cup when I haven’t won one yet? Why am I seeing the same dialogue options I’ve seen since ‘22? The BaP is so bad I wouldn’t be surprised if you told me Gary Bettman wrote the code himself.. Not coming at you buddy but BaP could be so cool if they’re willing to put in the effort…please help.

Yeah, 7 seasons is a long time to play before seeing any contract details. It would definitely be nice to have some control over the first contract. Be even better if we could use the Charm/Persuasion skills to try to get better terms.

Just go to your team lines and click your character and check your salary by scrolling down.

First contract after entry season was 2 yrs, that works fine i chose Devils. Then after expire got 5 yr contract with Devils automatically (didnt get any offers so i think glitch) and after that 5 years i could choose team normally (8y contract - got offer from 5 teams)

Cool, thanks! It would be nice if you could actually see your salary and contract details somewhere. You can figure out roughly how much you make per game by checking the salary tab, but it kinda takes you out of the narrative in Be A Pro if you can't see this info. Thanks again.

How long is the second contract? I'm in my 5th or 6th year and haven't seen any contract offers or details.

Hi there. This is an issue we're aware of. Unfortunately, I don't have any other details. We'll have to wait and see if this is resolved in a future update.
