Error Restart Loop After Leaving The Phone In The Middle Of The Game

This might be related to the game poorly functioning or not at all during slow internet connections (to which I will also suggest to allow the game to be playable offline). What happened was that I was in the middle of playing a Lawn Patrol level yesterday but I suddenly have other matters to attend to so I have to pause and leave it for a couple of hours, assuming that the level would be fine by the time I come back.
But no it was not-
When I came back, the game froze on the pause screen, showing the loading icon on the bottom and shortly had a pop up asking to restart. Then the same pop up will repetitively appear during the starting loading screen. Exiting and closing the app will not do anything until I wait for half an hour to be able to open the game again.

Yesterday, the loop will only trigger when I'm in the level select for Lawn Patrol but just now it got triggered upon starting the game
