I just wanted to confirm, the secondary damage won't show the 'Crit' vfx, but should still apply crit. If it's not doing crit damage this is an issue, if it's that the crit vfx doesn't show, then that is as intended.
In regards to volcano zombies, I believe it's intended to be volcano zombies specifically, but I can pass along that feedback to for clarity here.
After further testing, it seems secondary damage DOES apply. However:
- DoT acid from Dangerine, Lime-Bomb, Gremonade, and Explo-OJ does not CRIT. Only the initial hits do.
- Electric Peashooter also has incorrect stats displayed in Alamanac. From my tests it has 24 Primary Damage, and 16 Secondary Damage. The Almanac shows it has 33 Primary Damage and 12 Secondary Damage, which is not correct.
- Secondary Damage from Winter Green & Freezar Salad is incorrect, as mentioned in a different ticket, but they DO crit despite that.
The team might want to review the Almanac and make sure everything matches what it actually does 🥲 it is very frustrating to do the math myself rather than just being able to read the almanac.
I'd also suggest either changing "Secondary Damage" to be more specific, such as "Uppercut Damage", "Poison Damage", "Chain Damage" etc as sometimes it can be very vague what it actually applies to.
