“Team up, Throw down” Mission does not progress

When trying to complete the side tour about throwdowns (titled “Team up, Throw down”), the first step doesn’t seem to become completed. The first step is to complete a throwdown, but when doing so, Izzy repeats her dialogue as if the player is beginning the mission for the first time.
