Broken tricks out of grinds

Popless tricks aren't enabled anymore? This is the only way to realistically pop flick tricks out of grinds and without it making videos is impossible. Just because it's a hard mechanic to master means it should be taken out of the game. Every single game up until this moment  you were able to do this. What changed? Below are clips with popless tricks out of the grinds just for reference.

    Been a long time player of these games. They have to fix this and get this mechanic back working.

    Thank you for the report and examples! For exactly how to pull these off, is it basically just a lean exit or B/Circle exit and a late flip to avoid the big jump from ollieing? Could you include a clip of what it looks like now after yesterday's update?

    Post update you are only allowed to do them off the end of ledges (first clip). If attempted anywhere else on the ledge the animation will try but cancel (second clip). You used to be able to do it anywhere in the grind as long as you timed the trick out correctly (third clip). For how to do them you could use either lean exit or button exit but it is NOT a late flip or shuv out. It is the sweet spot right in between so you get the animation as if you popped from the ledge itself but with the ideal height for realism. Again, it is NOT a late trick out. If you do it correctly it will come up as "kickflip" instead of "late flip".

  • Before season 3 I was able to hold L3 to left or right and do a flip trip or shuv popping out which ever side I wanted it gave the ultimate feeling of board control back smith front pop same side etc but now you literally can not do that why would we back track on the physics not only that but the flat ground low pop tre flip was just fine. I started skating in 2009 btw so Ik what I’m talking about please get it together 

  • Small update to this, there's actually two separate issues at play here.

    1. "Popless" tricks out of grinds leading to frequent bails/wipeouts
    2. Grind exits via lean or B/Circle re-attaching to the ledge or rail

    Both issues are being investigated. Thank you again for the detailed report and clips!

  • First thing I noticed man that was my favorite part back smith front pop to the side mid ledge
