Character skin tones messed up since update

Hi EA Skate Team,

I’m reaching out because the recent update drastically changed the appearance of my character, and honestly, it feels like a major downgrade. I spent a lot of time customizing my skater to look a certain way, and after the update, the face, skin tone, and overall visual quality changed completely, even though all the settings and sliders remain the same.

The issue is pretty extreme:
    •    The skin tone options are now significantly darker, even at the lightest setting.
    •    The face structure and details I originally had were replaced with a different look that no longer resembles the character I created.
    •    The update seems to have applied some sort of “realism” filter, but it removed sharpness, personality, and accuracy.
    •    My character now looks nothing like the one I built before the patch, which is really frustrating after putting so much time into customizing her.

This completely broke the immersion and identity of my skater, and judging by how obvious the downgrade is, something definitely feels off with the new character rendering or customization pipeline.

Please take a look at this issue and consider adjusting or reverting whatever changes were made to facial models, lighting, and skin tone presets. Players invest time into their avatars, and having them changed like this in a way that looks noticeably worse, is honestly disappointing.

At this point, I would genuinely prefer having the original character appearance restored. If improving realism isn’t currently achievable, I would rather keep the previous version, because the new update makes the facial features look noticeably worse instead of more realistic. The face has lost definition, clarity, and proportional accuracy. As seen in my before-and-after comparisons, the updated model appears darker, flatter, and less detailed, which removes the unique look my character originally had.

I love the game, but this update really hurt the experience.
