Grind assist is still broken after S2 update.

Hello, ever since S2 my grind assist has been practically useless, no matter what I set it to the assist seems to always be turned on. At 0% i'm still being dragged into grinds from over a meter away. It's really killed my enjoyment due to the play style. Anybody experienced something similar? 

I've tried everything, the only temporary fix seems to be logging into a separate EA account which obviously isn't ideal.
