i cant even open skate.

same... Starts as black screen, can't tab in or out, can't ATL+F4.. All I can do is force reboot pc. Tried verifying game files on steam, doesn't do **bleep** despite saying everytime "failed to verify 3 files, files will be reaquired."

I'm having the same problem, my PC have a 5080, and a ryzen 7 9800X3D, In the alpha a guy told me on discord that he fixed roling back the Graphics card.. IDK if is true..

i get the message of the day after i load in then just a full black screen, it was just working fine for me yesterday this came out of nowhere

Same here also. Tried so many things...verifying game files, reinstalling game, HDR on and off, AutoHDR on and off, lowering audio bandwidth, various settings in Steam, setting the skate.exe file to run as Administrator...and it will work like 1 out of 6 or 7 times, but as stated before, when the screen goes black nothing works. Running a 4080 Super on latest driver. Tried booting the first time before updating the driver and the game was doing this so installed the newest driver, worked once, then back to this again.

SAME BROTHER!!!! NOTHING GOD DAM WORKS. I've been troubleshooting for at least a week and a half now and have watched EVERY fix tutorial and read EVERY fix forum and article and NOTHING WORKS. EA FIX THIS BC I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME> IVE MADE OVER 5 REPORTS AND GOT NO RESPONSE
