Game Crash Every 8 Minutes, Sometimes Crashes Entire PC
I keep having the game crash to desktop on me without warning while playing Skate. It happens every single time, almost exactly every 8 minutes. No matter what I do—whether I change graphics settings, try different setups, or adjust anything in-game, it still crashes at the same interval. About 25% of the time, it also causes a hard crash of my entire PC (full shutdown). previous update worked fine, and was playing the day before the new update went live. I’m on the latest version of Windows 11, as of 3/19/2026 What I’ve Tried: Switched graphics settings (low, medium, high) Tried different combinations of settings Tested multiple times in different sessions Nothing stops the crash; it happens every time, consistently. Description of the issue: Right after the Season 3 maintenance was over and I hopped in to check things out, all of my neighbourhood levels and progress got reset/bugged out. They are simply stuck at 0 / 0 and will not update or progress at all. Can't buy any product boxes either, even if it shows that I already have multiple boxes unlocked in said neighbourhood. It's been like this two weeks. Steps to trigger/reproduce the issue: Start the game as usual Look at the 0 / 0 on your current neighbourhood and wonder if all your progress gone Write bug report and hope for the best. I've seen a handful of other people post on reddit and the discord with the same issue. Still no acknowledgement as a known bug, which worries me a ton. Platform: PC (Steam) Troubleshooting steps already performed: Validated files through Steam. Reinstalled game completely. Attempted to run a few missions both old and new in every neighbourhood hoping it would fix things. No luck.Connection Lost | Error code: 3982909855
I started encountering this error for the first time today before the weekly reset for the event. I can't find any additional information on this specific error except a thread from playtest era in search results that I can't access. It happens after between 2 and 10 minutes of playtime consistently, usually after closing a menu but sometimes while playing, the game screen goes black for a minute and then this error appears. So far I have tried verifying game files in Steam, full uninstall/reinstall along with deleting the %localappdata%\Skate folder, repairing Javelin anticheat through the EA/AC folder installer, launching the game through EA instead of Steam, and updating windows. I've noticed animation inconsistencies with height 1 players and certain emotes in the past. I wasn't too bothered by it because they're only emotes, it doesn't really affect the way I play the game. Bonelesses had the same problem pre-Season 3 but I assumed it would be fixed with the patch but the hand still doesn't stay on the board throughout the trick, only at the beginning and end.61Views2likes5CommentsUI Overlap & Texture Issues on AMD GPUs
Hello, I have this weird texture when i enter the shop, and it goes everywhere in my game right after. I checked my GPU, everything's fine. Same for my monitor. I wonder if it's not a Skate. disfunctional thing. Can someone give me advice ? (Two days ago, I bought the Season 3 Starter Pack for €4.99 and I received my 5 skate.points.) I'd also like to say that I think it's really unfair not to offer skate.points to those who have already bought the Welcome Pack or Welcome Deluxe Pack.
