I was stuck on loading into the game after getting past the start menu. I looked into everything, and i eventually found something that helped me & im now skating around on the new update.
Im on Xbox One
this worked for me- I have an external device, I moved the game from external to the console. I was able to load in after a couple of tries. Also check your nat type in network settings. If you are on a strict nat type that may be part of the issue aswell.
