Im on this mission but when i choose an object to drop it wont let me place it down. it disappears completely. HELP

The quick object dropper for the floor is lava challenge is not working the objects don't even appear on screen or allow them to be placed
Same for me except on the “drop it like it’s hot” mission. Can’t quick drop any items
