Im on this mission but when i choose an object to drop it wont let me place it down. it disappears completely. HELP

The quick object dropper for the floor is lava challenge is not working the objects don't even appear on screen or allow them to be placed
I had no issues with quick drop yesterday but getting on today quick drop is broken for me, they are invisible, and when I was able to place it it had the holographic UI affect still applied when I was out of quick drop.
