Im on this mission but when i choose an object to drop it wont let me place it down. it disappears completely. HELP

Ideas
I turned off crossplay in the general settings. Restarted my game and it is working for me now.
Didn't actually needed to do this today, I simply started the mission and all of the objects appeared on the ground. Made halfway into the mission and turned off, later I'll restart to see if the problem persists.
