Im on this mission but when i choose an object to drop it wont let me place it down. it disappears completely. HELP

When I go to Slappy to do the Quick Drop tutorial it's bugged and I can't place anything/ move on from challenge. When I try to do quick drop outside of the tutorial though it works fine. I am not trying to hear this guy every time I log on lol. Help!
Had the same issue. Couldnt progress, went skateing elsewhere. hope its solved somehow when i get back to it.
